Day 12

Today is going to be a shorter blog post- we mainly just drove for most of the day. Of course, there is always plenty of excitement to be had on the road not just from the beautiful landscapes but those small occurrences that pop up every now and then. Like seeing a burst of fire from the woods and realizing that its only a drill site for natural gas. Or meeting one of my new favorite animals on the side of the road, the mountain goat. After a long journey driving through British Columbia, we were both exhausted but luckily we camped at the right place- Liard Hot Springs. Some tasty soup for dinner and a midnight dip in the hot springs was just what we needed.

Don't mind me.... The landscape is what's important
