The pictures really tell it all today. We thoroughly documented our stay in Seattle through the most pictures we've ever taken in one day. Our morning began by exploring Pike's Place market. You can really find anything here! The fish dealers were an especially popular destination. Afterwards, we went down to the Seattle Center to find some cool attractions. The next three days are "Bite of Seattle" (kind of like Taste of Chicago) so we got to have some great street food and listen to live music in the park. Then we visited the Pacific Science Center/Museum where we saw a live presentation on black holes and a butterfly house. My dad and I tried forever to take a good shot of the blue butterfly and finally we got one right as we were leaving. Next stop was the Chihuly Glass Museum, which displayed some of the best works of the glassworking artist Dale Chihuly. Just check out the pictures. Breathtaking. A different kind of art museum, the EMP was also a great stop. A museum dedicated to guitars, popular music, and science fiction? I couldn't think of anything cooler! To end our night, we took a ride up to the top of the Space Needle for a spectacular view of the Seattle skyline. A late-night dinner of sushi and we were ready to call it a night. What a great day!
