Today has been filled with breathtaking views. We spent the whole day exploring the redwood forests and the Northern California coast. Here it is- redwoods are big. We tried our best to capture this fact in our photos, but it's not the same unless you see them in person. I have seen a lot of amazing forests in these past weeks, but nothing compares to the redwoods. They are absolutely unique with their immense size, earthy color, and the way that the forest seems to envelop you. The clouds of mists that floated through the forests added yet another element of beauty to the landscape. These forests are really something that everyone should see at least once in their life. On our way to stay in Fort Bragg, we had to drive a very curvy road through the coastal forests. Every once in a while, we would get a glimpse of a fiery color in the sky. We really wanted to capture the sunset, and just in time we arrived at a vantage point that looked out into the sea. The colors over the ocean- red, purple, orange- formed one of the most vivid sunsets I have ever seen.
