Day 11

We saw the most beautiful forest today- the Ancient Cedar Forest in British Columbia. Our morning started with a hike through these trees thousands of years old. The forest was spaced perfectly so that it was filled with green but open enough to see the forest in all directions. Unfortunately, the forest was also covered in mosquitoes. They weren't so bad at first but by the end of our hike we were running out of there! Afterwards, we went to the nearby town of Prince George to find some more camera memory so we can keep the pictures coming. Only problem was, its Canada Day! Fortunately, we found an open electronics store. Today also marks the beginning of our journey to Alaska. We're spending the night in Dawson Creek, the town at the start of the famous Alaskan Highway.

  3. Can I transplant one of those ancient cedars here in my front yard in Austin? It would really help with providing me with some nice shade:)
