Day 14

A day of rest. Getting up late this morning, we decided to stay another day in Whitehorse. Time to do laundry and getting the oil changed. After an enjoyable short hike down to Miles Canyon (which was the last obstacle for the river runners on their rafts down from Dawson City during the Klondike Gold Rush) we fueled up at Earl's. We met up with Konstantine, our Russian friend we met earlier at the laundromat. He was tending the bar at Earl's and had lots of stories to share about Whitehorse, Russia and life in general. We finished out the night at "The Dirty Northern Public House" listening to Fish Head Stew, a local raunchy bluegrass/ country band. Awesome day!
